Hybosorus illigeri

I see that BugGuide is using Hybosorus roei as valid name for what has been and is still being called Hybosorus illigeri, noting that illigeri is a “widely used name until recently; see ICZN Opinion 2230 (2009)" It is still widely used. When the conservation of H. illigeri was applied for a decade ago, it was not approved by the ICZN, but this does not mean that the Commission in any way suggested that H. roei needs to be used. This former Case was incomplete and not particularly comprehensively documented. Now we have submitted a new Case that was registered by the ICZN as Case 3768, in order to conserve the name illigeri Reiche, 1853. Under Art. 82 of the Code when a case is under consideration by the Commission, prevailing usage of names is to be maintained until the ruling of the Commission is published. Therefore the name illigeri must be used, being in prevailing usage.
I would suggest to reinstate Hybosorus illigeri in BugGuide.
Cheers
