N. scolopax
Moved from Neortholomus nevadensis.

See my explanation under this entry:

good eye! thanks Ken for setting me straight
Moved from Sycamore Seed Bug.

interesting! thanks
wonder if some of the SWRS collection specimens are actually this species too? guess I'll have to check them out when I eventually return

by all means

Wondering...
...if this might actually be Neortholomus nevadensis, a species just added to the Guide.

Moved
Moved from True Bugs.

Moved

Orsillinae?
It's not a great match for anything in the Guide, but it's the closest I could get.

I'm thinking...
that these are Belonochilus numenius - there are lots of sycamores here, and there are specimens of the species in the SWRS collection

yep, B. numenius, both cases

That was my first thought...
...but I went through all the images on BG and just couldn't make it fit. In particular, the head of B. numenius seems more elongate than the head of your critter.
