Proepisternum showing the lack of a transverse suture.

Golden recumbent hairs covering all of elytra and pronotum. Tarsi 5-5-4. Eyes emarginate. Pronotum with shallow mid-lateral basal depressions with indentations. Maxillary palps barrel shape, not triangular. Tibia with dorsal diagonal grooves with small dark thick setae. Procoxa widely open behind. Prosternal intercoxal process ends ventral to coxa and does not separate coxae. Tibial spurs simple and approximately equal length. Mesosternum anterior to mesocoxae with a ridge that fits between procoxae. Mesocoxal cavities open. Proepisternum showing the lack of a transverse suture
