Elachistidae, Grass Miner Moth, lateral - Perittia herrichiella
Red Oak Prairie, Allamakee County, Iowa, USA
Size: 3 mm, head to wing tips
found this expired, no decent accompanying information

May 20, 2015: collected several leaf mines & herbivory on various plants in a prairie remnant and adjacent oak woods. Put them in a covered container until I could deal with them. Plants included but not limited to: Violet wood sorrel, Oxalis violacea, Grape, Vitis sp., Sky blue aster, Aster azureus,
and Wild Honeysuckle, Lonicera dioica.

Looks like Perittia herrichiella, a Lonicera-feeder

Thank you.
That looks good.
But it brings up the question, where did the moth come from?
BG Info says: "Hibernates as a pupa in a cocoon under the bark of the host plant."
