I feel like this is very similar to this individual.

Could mine also be a female Helophilus obscurus?

Apologies to Denis for this is a female as he suggested. The tergite 5 with an obvious divided band but the male Helophilus obscurus has only tergite 3 and 4 with divided markings. The tip is obvious not a genital capsule as I originally thought.
