Range
I know Attulus ammophilus has been seen in Utah, given that that already extends the "known" range by thousands of miles, I don't think Oregon is too far a leap. This definitely looks like Attulus ammophilus to me.

Well...Dr. Hedin has more experience with those western

. Looking at this one again though and I'm wondering how I ever arrived at that genus anyway. Regardless, it struck me as something entirely different this time.
Attulus ammophilus
distribution is not very well known at this time and I don't know of any records in Oregon; it is an introduced species. But I think that's actually what this is.
