Frowning moth - Zale lunata

Frowning moth - Zale lunata
Maplesville, Chilton County, Alabama, USA
March 10, 2018
This brown moth had some type of crest on his head. His median line seemed to be made of three parallel lines and his frowning subterminal line seemed to have a thin brown line and a thicker black band under that. His outer margin was rough, like a saw blade. He reminded me of the Lunate Zale, but I can't find one in this position with the wings down. I'm not sure if's relevant, but he stayed in this spot under outside lights for about two days.
