Oh my gosh! Is this a cockroach??!!

Oh my gosh! Is this a cockroach??!!
Indiana, USA
Size: Smaller than a penny
I’m terrified. Is this a cockroach? We’re pretty cleanly so I don’t understand how we would get them. This bug was found when turning on the bathroom lights to give my kids a bath.

Frassed

It is a cockroach
but not a pest species. This one is a native wood cockroach (Genus Parcoblatta, likely P. pennsylvanica).

yes roach...
but may not be one of the pest species. Wait for a roach expert to comment
