Identification
Adult: forewing white with black transverse streaks and spots, and deep yellow patch near apex; hindwing deep yellow; top of thorax white with large black spots; abdomen deep yellow; legs black and white.
Range
Southern Arizona and western Texas. (5), (4), (6)
Type Location: Pima County, Arizona.
Season
Adults fly July through September. (4)
Food
J. Bundy at southwestmoths.org found them on Sonoran Indian mallow (Abutilon mollicomum, Malvaceae) in the Baboquivara Mts, Pima Co., AZ.
