Adult: forewing white with black transverse streaks and spots, and deep yellow patch near apex; hindwing deep yellow; top of thorax white with large black spots; abdomen deep yellow; legs black and white.

Type Location: Pima County, Arizona.
Adults fly July through September. (4)
J. Bundy at southwestmoths.org found them on Sonoran Indian mallow
, Malvaceae) in the Baboquivara Mts, Pima Co., AZ.
Ethmia delliella is also found in Texas.
