Mud Dauber Wasp Nest - Trypoxylon politum

Mud Dauber Wasp Nest - Trypoxylon politum
Peachtree Corners, Gwinnett County, Georgia, USA
December 28, 2016
Possibly from an "Organ Pipe Mud Dauber" (Trypoxylon politum) (??) Observed on a boulder adjacent to an intermittent stream.

Moved
Moved from ID Request.

Nice to see an example in a natural habitat for a change.

Thanks Charley.
I also had some photographs of similar mud dauber nests on the underside of a storm drain manhole cover but I went with the "au naturel" shot. Really appreciate your help!
