I just happened to check the Subfamily Arctiinae, tribe Arctiini photos on Bruce Walsh's website (Moths of SE Arizona) and found a match! Here's the link (hope this works):

If you go through the families and you can view photos of the caterpillar instars. You may get lucky and find it!

 
Good suggestion but...
...maybe I'll just e-mail the photo to Bruce. I find it pretty tedious to look at all of the links on that website. Lots of information there, just hard to get to if you don't have a clue as to ID.
