Moth with eight white dots - Hypsoropha monilis - male

Moth with eight white dots - Hypsoropha monilis - Male
Maplesville, Chilton County, Alabama, USA
March 16, 2018
This was an orange moth with a wingspan of about 3.5 cm. He had a very distinct row of eight dots across his forewings. He also had four smaller lighter marks in the area of his subterminal line. The one on the inside looked like a boomerang. Did I find Hodges 8527 – Hypsoropha monilis – Large Necklace Moth?
