Differential Grasshopper? - Melanoplus differentialis - Male

This grasshopper was found trying to swim in the Chesapeake Bay. It seemed to appreciated being helped back to shore. Looks like Melanoplus differentialis - Differential Grasshopper but I am not sure. I will post a second picture.
