Size: 23 mm
Detail of head, and esp., eye. Delving into Pinto and Selander's (1) keys and descriptions as best I can, the overall coloration, eyes, and other characters look close to M. campanicollis. Here, for instance:
Eyes (as in Fig. 104) narrow, weakly convex, subreniform, at most moderately narrowed ventrally;

Any assistance in this difficult genus would be appreciated very much. I retained the specimen in case other details shots are needed.
