Pepsis ?? - Hemipepsis ustulata
Aromas, San Benito County, California, USA
October 4, 2007
Size: ~25mm
This guy came buzzing into our yard today, didn't stay long in one place. I'm guessing that it is a Pepsis of some kind, anybody know which species? It went on down our hill and I found this guy which I believe is the same specimen, but I'm not sure.

Female
We can't see all of the antennae segments or all of the abdominal segments, but the flagellum is thin. = ♀
