Amolita fessa

Amolita fessa
Pine Brook, Isanti County, Minnesota, USA
July 13, 2009
Showing a string of eggs laid in the underside longitudinal fold of an unidentified grass blade by light captured female. Length of string about one inch. Offered various unidentified and identified, native and non-native grasses but last caterpillar likely starved about August 10. This suggests their dietary range is somewhat specialized within grasses.
