Pseudochalcura gibbosa - male

Pseudochalcura gibbosa - Male
Reno, 39.49429, -119.84280, Washoe County, Nevada, USA
August 17, 2013
Size: 4 mm
Prepectus (triangular plate pointing toward wing) not reaching tegula (brown flap over base of wing).

NV not represented yet. Sweeping foliage around an old cottonwood tree. I didn't find the ant nest important to the larvae of these parasites.

Several pics to show important characteristics.
Prepectus not reaching tegula. Flagellum funicle segments 1-5 branched (4 obviously, and the 5th just barely a bump, but the key counts it). Ventral 1st abdominal segment Gs1 not expanded or produced forward. Petiole cylindrical, not globose.
Scutellum apex rounded, not produced into paired spines. Occiput is flat not concave.
