Cybaeus?
I submitted the picture to the extension service, and they thought funnel weaver, then thought Cybaeus.

Actually
this is an adult male Steatoda, possibly hespera or similar species.
Sorry for the delay, I somehow missed this one even though I had it tagged and moved it previously.

Steatoda
You seem very positive, so I will assume that genus, not the other candidates. I may post the pic on pandasthumb.org; may I credit you with the identification? Many thanks! Matt

It
is an adult Steatoda.
Compare to images of adult male S. grandis and borealis (most likely one of the two), and mexicana or hespera (possible but less likely) based on location you provided.
ID credit is fine with me, thanks.

To my wholly untrained eye ...
... it looks a lot like an underfed this: https://bugguide.net/node/view/711764

I may run that pic in a couple of weeks, and I will be sure to credit you.

BTW ...
... in this page, https://bugguide.net/node/view/6926, you do not link to S. grandis, but you have a page for it.

I
think you are looking for the taxonomy tab.

I found the page I wanted,
but on the page I mentioned, you list a lot of species, not all of which have links. I thought it might have been an oversight. No need to reply. TYVM for all the identifications!
