Cisthene? - Cisthene

Cisthene? - Cisthene
Private Ranch, Jim Hogg County, Texas, USA
March 20, 2018

Mixed field marks
This individual is going to be difficult to place. My sense is that this is a slightly aberrant Thin-banded but I'm shy about placing it there in order not to confuse the image collection. Various aspects point to one of 3 different Cisthene species:
-- The pale yellow color of the various bands and spots, along with the broad base of the PM spot on the inner FW margin might point to Tamaulipan Lichen Moth, but the basal streaks and leg color are wrong for that species.
-- The triangles which make up the PM band might suggest One-banded but that species typically has orange colors and banded legs.
-- Aside from the odd looking PM triangles, this might be construed as a pale Thin-banded.
