Speckled Sharpshooter - Paraulacizes irrorata

Speckled Sharpshooter - Paraulacizes irrorata
Nashua, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA
September 26, 2007
Size: about 12mm wings folded
I caught a bright red flash for a split-second whenever this fellow jumped/flew to a new spot inside my light arena. Rather than wrestle it down and spread its wings to get a better look I waited for it to die a (hopefully) natural death, then spread its wings with ease for some nice color views.
