Poss. Plant Aphid? - Allothrombium

Poss. Plant Aphid? - Allothrombium
Burlington, Kenosha County, Wisconsin, USA
March 22, 2018
Size: Miniscule
I was taking pics of cladonia lichen when I noticed this tiny bug moving along among the dirt and plant debris. It fell over as you can see in the second pic. I believe it has two legs on each side of its main body part and possibly one pair, one on each side, around the head area. Or, those are feelers of some sort, not sure. It surprised me as it was so early in the year and when I am out and about I do not see many insects/bugs, etc. Thanks...PS Hope this is not defined as frass, but OK if it is!! :)

Velvet Mite
Looks like a velvet mite in the family Trombidiidae. I've often seen them early in the spring; I think they must overwinter as adults.

Velvet Mite
Very interesting Ken and I appreciate your taking time for ID assist. I will check this pretty velvety mite out further. Hope you have a great week, Mary
