Not
so shy. The initial reaction to a major threat such as being removed from protection of web is to play dead, but if pestered further they will flee, or bow up with front legs in air and fangs open.

Probably P. tristis.

Webs are strong and comparable to those of adult female L. hesperus, though much smaller.
