Adalia bipunctata ? - Adalia bipunctata
Forbes, St. Louis County, Minnesota, USA
April 9, 2018
Strange things happen! I found this in my house following a day of walking through forests and swamps. It apparently it got on my clothing during the day. It must have moved around the house, on, off, and back onto my clothing over a period of several hours. It may have resided in my car for a time. Unfortunately I do not know exactly where it came from; I only know it came from central St. Louis County.

Were you back around Gilbert where you saw them a few years ago or are you sure this came from somewhere else?

A. bipunctata
No, I was southwest of there around Canyon. Unfortunately, because of the weird way I found it, I cannot be sure of where it came from. For all I know it could have been crawling around the house for several days! But, on April 7th and 8th I had been in several swampy areas searching for silk moth cocoons. I likely came from an area between Canyon, Meadowlands, and Forbes. Jerry.

Thanks. That's good information anyway. It means there's more than one spot where they still occur.
