Enoclerus probably coccineus on thistle flower - Enoclerus coccineus
6 miles NW Lyons, Boulder County, Colorado, USA
June 28, 2010
Size: ~6-8 mm
This clerid was seen in the CO foothills at ~6400' elevation. It is upside down at the base of a open thistle flower. The two red dots on the shoulder are a little hard to see, but is is very like E. coccineus in all respects. Any help is much appreciated.

Jacques Rifkind agrees
Moved from Enoclerus.
