I got caught again. Is there
I got caught again. Is there a key to distinguish Muscoidea from Oestroidea. If so, where can I find it? Thanks.

Bend in vein M
With a few exceptions, the bend in vein M is sharper in Oestroidea. If you have a specimen under a microscope, a patch of hairs above the hind leg is a more reliable differentiator (present in all North American Oestroidea, absent in almost all Muscoidea).

This may be Muscina.

Since I do not collect insect
Since I do not collect insects and do not have a microscope, I will try to retain the vein M. criterion. That said, I am not sure I have the expertise to correctly estimate what is sharp or not. I'll see. Thanks for sharing your expertise!
