Robberfly ? - Thereva fucata -

Size: 3/4 "

I thought it might be a Stilleto fly until I noticed the size of them being at biggest 3/8 " . This fellow was bigger than that , so now I am confused / maybe he is a Midas fly ? Thanks for any comments , Beth
