Eye-gap = ♀
Judging by the number of stripes in her eyes and the leg coloring, she probably belongs in the genus Tabanus. Hold on for an expert.
Next time, try to get wing veins and abdomen shots. That will help with your IDs. (...shade, rather than direct sunlight)
