Dendroides canadensis Latreille
It is a larva of Dendroides canadensis Latreille.

This appears to be a pyrchoid
This appears to be a pyrchoid larva. I've collected and reared them to adulthood. Cucujus clavipes larvae have a shorter head and shorter caudal spines in a different arrangement.

Rearing Pyrchoids

I recently found some Pyrchoid larvae, and I was wondering if you could offer me some of the details of rearing them to adults.

Thanks!

Crystal

Pyrochroidae
