Tufted Apple Bud Moth - Platynota idaeusalis
Maplesville, Chilton County, Alabama, USA
April 12, 2018
This was an orange and gray moth with wings that appeared to be layered or laminated. He had two gray and black "eyes" at the AM line level. He had a gold oval in the middle of his thorax. His terminal line was a series of orange dashes and he had yellowish orange fringe.
