Welcome to BugGuide!

Species?
Any idea on the species? Or some narrowed down possibilities and what to look for? I’ll have it pinned soon so i can look with more detail. Or any good true bug reference field guides? I have specific ones for most of the other common orders but can’t seem to find one that is specific to Hemiptera other than the out of print Slater one that I would prefer not to spend $100 bucks on.

I'm no expert, but...
...the shape of the pronotum makes me think this might be B. arborea.

B. quadripustlata
Is that what would differentiate it from B. quadripustulata in your opinion? That’s another one I’ve been looking at.

Yes, among other characteristics.
The humeral angles are bluntly pointed in quadripustulata.

Thanks!
Awesome! Thank you!
