E. oregona male - Emblyna oregona - male

E. oregona male - Emblyna oregona - Male
Lodoga, Century Ranch entrance area, Colusa County, California, USA
April 23, 2018
Size: 2 mm
I found this adult male dictynid at lights at night. The markings, palp and range all seem to fit best with this species, although the ID should probably be considered tentative. One issue is that the tip of the embolus is buried within the conductor and it's difficult to see well - I've tried to take a few images of it looking basally (towards the palpal tibia). As best I can tell, it has a similar structure to Chamberlin and Gertsch plate 44, fig 2.
