Snowy Urola Moth - Urola nivalis

Snowy Urola Moth - Urola nivalis
Maplesville, Chilton County, Alabama, USA
April 25, 2018
This was a white moth with a wingspan of about 1.0 cm. His front legs were white and other legs brown. His antennae were brown, rope-like, and were about 75% the length of his forewings. He had one small brown spot at approximately the area of the anal angle. Most conspicuous though was his terminal line which was a series of brown dashes and fringe which was gold, which shimmered under a flashlight.
