Size: ~4 mm
Thanks as always. Found in residential yard on the coastal plain.

Aphaenogaster, probably A. ca
Aphaenogaster, probably A. carolinensis (antwiki says DNA analysis necessary to confirm ID due to overlap with A. rudis/A. texana, but antweb doesn't show either of the competing species in your area).
