Recorded from the eastern half of the United States and southeastern Canada. (3)

Food
Larvae recorded on leatherleaf (Chamaedaphne), shrubby St. Johnswort (Hypericum prolificum), laurel (Kalmia), paradise apple (Malus pumila) and Blue Ridge blueberry (Vaccinium pallidum). (5)
