Two males resting during cool weather within a buttercup flower (Ranunculus californicus).

In using Stephen, Bohart, & Torchio(1) here, there were a few couplets where the characters involved couldn't be clearly discerned here...but following the various leads, the best outcome seemed to be Panurginus. These two seem to agree well with the current CA posts from that genus...e.g. compare w/ those below:
