probable "lichen form" of Ilia
See Owlet Caterpillars of Eastern North America (D.L. Wagner, et al) p. 130 and p.98 describing and illustrating this green form. Note that if you are trying to raise it, Wagner notes "the larvae require young leaves, and struggle and fail if fed older foliage". He also notes that oak (mostly Red or White Oak) is the common food plant.
