Interesting family Pentatomidae find in Everglades National Park - Vulsirea nigrorubra

Interesting family Pentatomidae find in Everglades National Park - Vulsirea nigrorubra
Everglades National Park, Florida, USA
May 16, 2015
I tracked down this sighting to May 16, 2015.This was seen in a tree hammock surrounded by marsh prairie in Everglades National Park. Pentatomidae. iNaturalist identifiers have suggested Vulsirea nigrorubra as this species is found in Florida, and suggested I share here! I just thought this was a pretty cool stink bug, much different from the usual brown or green!

Cool bug. In the future, please try to crop closer to the subject, less background. If you want, you can edit your post and replace image. If the original picture was from a digital camera, you might look at the date on the file.
