Brown moth with two wavy lines - Zanclognatha

Brown moth with two wavy lines - Zanclognatha
Maplesville, Chilton County, Alabama, USA
May 3, 2018
This was a light brown moth with a fairly straight darker brown AM line that was both wavy and jagged and bolder toward the costa. He had two small indistinct eyes with eyebrows between the AM and PM lines (reniform spots?). His PM line was also wavy and jagged. From the costa, it took a sharp dive downward and back up again to the inner margin. It too was darker at the costa. His subterminal line was the straightest, darker toward the inner margin and costa. His terminal line was brown dashes and his fringe was light gray.

John, species placement in this Genus is difficult and is usually done by Steve Nanz every so often. I think yours looks like 8341 – Zanclognatha theralis or at least the theralis Complex. Will be interested to see if I am correct.
