Unidentified cavity dwelling bee - Stigmus
Leavenworth, Chelan County, Washington, USA
August 27, 2017
Size: 1/4 inch
Observed while sitting on porch in the afternoon. Bee made several trips in and out of hole in wood railing. Once inside hole, it stayed for awhile although I couldn't see it carry anything in or out. Very quick, jerky movements. Only observed on one day.
