Running Crab Spider - Tibellus oblongus
Puyallup, Pierce County, Washington, USA
October 14, 2007

Not an ID
could this (as well as some of the others at genus) be Tibellus duttoni

According to Rod Crawford,
oblongus is the only Western WA species. However, I don't know about the ones from other areas.

You have a Montana spider that looks similar to this one.

True,
but I was only able to ID the Western WA sp. due to Rod's comment. I haven't researched the sp. from MT, so I don't know if there are others that can be confused with it.
