Scymnus on pigweed -
Scymnus caurinus
Delano, Tulare County, California, USA
July 12, 2007
Size: 1.5 mm
This was captured preying on aphids on pigweed, where it is common. The same or similar species is often found preying on aphids on peach and plum trees.

Many similar looking species occur in California, but in general they are found in mountain habitats.
