Zale - Zale unilineata

Zale - Zale unilineata
Gum Springs, Newton County, Arkansas, USA
May 21, 2018
on Oak, not the "normal" host"

Moved from Looper Moths.

We see reduced prolegs on A3 and A4
so we're thinking this might be one of the Zale

This is Zale unilineata, which I have collected on my property before, but on Black Locust, the usual host. I got two of these, and both were on oak, with a plethora of locust nearby. The host threw me a curve ball. Thanks!
