Jack o lantern moth - Elophila obliteralis

Jack o lantern moth - Elophila obliteralis
Maplesville, Chilton County, Alabama, USA
May 22, 2018
This looked like a Waterlily Leafcutter Moth, but his wingspan only measured about 6 cm, instead of the 10-22 mm that I see as the reference.

Moved, Elophila obliteralis
Moved from ID Request. Wingspan is measured from spread specimens. This looks good for obliteralis.
