Wasp trying to parasitize fleabeetles - Microctonus vittatae? - Microctonus

Wasp trying to parasitize fleabeetles - Microctonus vittatae? - Microctonus
Harlemville, Columbia County, New York, USA
May 23, 2018
Size: ca. 3mm
These wasps were ardently tracking, approaching and attempting to oviposit in/on flea beetles (probably mainly Crucifer Flea Beetle, but occasionally also Striped) in brassica beds on an organic farm. Microctonus vittatae has been reported to parasitize flea beetles, and this does look similar to the other Microctonus on bugguide, but I could find no on-line images of M. vittatae. Any opinions? I do have some additional shots if that would be useful.

Microctonus…
Per Dr. Sharkey. He also mentioned, "The key is difficult (impossible) to use".

Euphorinae (female)…
There are quite a few species of wasps in the subfamily Euphorinae that are known to attack flea beetles in the genus Phyllotreta. Will ask Dr. Sharkey if he would like to comment on these images.

See reference here.

Thank you.
Thanks for the info. and for routing this. I do have a specimen if that would be helpful.
