Mystery Beetle - Hyperaspis undulata

Mystery Beetle - Hyperaspis undulata
Fish Creek Park in Calgary, Alberta, Canada
May 22, 2018
Size: 2.5mm
The only similar beetle I could find is the Yellow-spotted lady beetle but the spots are not the same and this beetle was much smaller than the 4.5mm of the lady beetle.

Nice find
John Acorn's book on ladybugs might help.
My best guess is Hyperaspis undulata.

There are a number of small lady beetles that look similar

You'll have to wait for a specialist to get a detailed ID
