Maybe a McBeetle? - Alobates pensylvanicus

Maybe a McBeetle? - Alobates pensylvanicus
Tracys Landing, Anne Arundel County, Maryland, USA
May 23, 2018
Size: approx 2 mm length
On 05/23/18, I cleaned my car out to ship to my daughter across country to use for her summer internship.I was surprised to find this beetle in a dashboard storage compartment.

On 5/22/18 I had stopped at McDonald's for lunch. It was a beautiful day so I decided to take one last drive with the convertible's top down. Since I did not want the wrappers to fly away, I stored the bag with the wrappers in the storage compartment until I threw them away when I got home. The only other item in this compartment is an auxiliary cord to play music through a phone. No crumbs, no hiding places... nothing other than perhaps the remnant smell of the McDonald's bag briefly stored there the day before.

Looks closest to a Alobates pensylvanica - False Mealworm Beetle but I have no idea. Please let me know. Thanks.

Moved, A.pensylvanica for sure...
