What type of water beetle - Dytiscus harrisii - Male

we found this outside in a puddle, and was wondering what type of beetle this would be.

"The only specie that has all the features shown is Dytiscus hybridus: anterior leg yellow, mesofemur yellow, all others piceous; pronotum laterally broadly bordered with yellow. I do not have this specie in my collection. My observations are from Larson et al. (2000). It cannot be marginicollis or hatchi for sure (not in Wisconsin)."

Male.
I agree this is a species of Dytiscus, and it is a male. Males have those greatly dilated front tarsi, almost disk-like in appearance, that they use to grip the female during mating.
