White moth with jagged lines - Idaea tacturata

White moth with jagged lines - Idaea tacturata
Maplesville, Chilton County, Alabama, USA
May 25, 2018
This was a white moth with a yellowish costa, two dark brown dots at the AM level very close to the costa, and a straight row of tiny brown dots down his abdomen. His PM line was light brown and very wavy. His ST line was broadly jagged with tiny brown dots evenly spaced on it. It had the look of a connect-the-dots line. His terminal line was thin and brown, best seen on the left forewing of this specimen. He had white fringe. His thorax seemed whiter and duller than his wings. He was peppered with many fine brown and black dots.
