This looks like a nymph. There were others of the same species in various sizes on this seed pod.

Yes, but an adult.
I apologize that I have forgotten the genus name, but we do have existing, identified images in the guise pages. The membraneous section of the hemielytron is transparent, which makes it look like the thing still has only wing 'pads.'
