Dimorphic Tosale Moth - Hodges#5556 - Tosale oviplagalis - Female
Wildwood Park; Radford, Virginia, USA
May 27, 2018
This tiny moth did a great job of hiding from my camera. This is the only shot I was able to get as the small critter hid under a leaf. I was in a wooded area near a creek. Is an Id possible?

Tosale oviplagalis
Moved from ID Request.

Thank you very much, Maury!
I knew that you and Bug Guide would be able to know the ID.

You're welcome
Keep those Virginia moths coming.
:)

Will do -
Please take a look at one I just placed in Virbia. Our small city park (54 acres) has a restroom with outdoor lights on all night. I try to check it each day. Thanks!
